OpenModScan: Free Opensource Modbus Master/Client
If you enrolled in my Modbus-RS485 or Modbus-TCP courses, I would have taught you how to download and use Modscan, a Modbus Master/Client application that I have used for the past 20+ years for Modbus industrial networks.
Modscan is a great application. However, if you want to use it on a permanent basis you have to eventually purchase the trial download and activate it. Also, it only runs on Windows.

OpenModScan solves these issues! It's an Opensource Modbus Master/Client that is completely FREE to download and use, and it runs on Windows as well as Linux. I have been using it for a little while now with great results, so I made a video tutorial on its various features. Check it out below.
My advice to you is to download and install OpenModScan, so that it is added to your Industrial Network Communications toolkit!
